Job Description

Job Role:

The Quality & Technology Transfer Manager is responsible for transferring technology from Global Technology Centers (GTC’s) to achieve the strategic goals of the business unit regarding new products. This position leads the development and implementation of the business unit technology strategy. He functions as the project facilitator to assure that agreed-upon goals are achieved. This position interfaces with corporate technology, supply chain, commercial partners, outside suppliers. He also provides coordination between Local Manufacturing, Division Marketing, Global Technology and the Regional Technology Centers. This includes management of programs driving Supply Chain optimization, harmonization, margin improvement and implementation of new product and new process technology.


· Interfaces with Division and Local Marketing, Technology Centers and Network Operations Group (Sourcing) to ensure effective new product development, manufacturability and tech transfer to meet division activity grids.

· Identifies gaps and resources to support needs and resolve issues related to new product commercialization.

· Provides direct interface to Global Technology and the RTC’ s to ensure appropriate prioritization and implementation planning for product simplification, harmonization, and margin improvement opportunities.

· Develops capital expenditure requests for major projects within the category, in partnership with the operations leadership team and commercial partners.

· Continuously refines the category technical strategy based upon the latest technical information available, consumer input and competitive actions.

· Leads ideation and category Funding the Growth initiatives to meet the corporate goals by establishing key milestones and measuring progress against identified deliverables.

· Design and execution of process development trials.

· To evaluate customer complaints and take actions to correct and / or develop preventive within manufacturing and report to management quarterly.

· To make preliminary estimation cost model for new projects and products.

· Communicates effectively with leadership to transfer information, request resources, and ask for decisions Seeks out internal and external best practices.

· Develops and fosters teamwork to drive business results.

· Follow-ups and executes actions related with EOHS, FP&R and Quality Standards.
